Community writes Warri Monarch on constitution of new executive

Following an earlier directive from the Palace, the people of Ureju Community in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State have written the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli to formally introduce a new 12-member executive committee to pilot affairs of the community for the next four years.

The constitution of the new Ureju Community Executive Committee is consequent upon the dissolution of the Prince Lucky Ukueberuwa leadership whose tenure elapsed in accordance with the community constitution.

In the letter dated July 1,2016 and addressed to the Warri Monarch, the community explained that the new executive committee has Mr. Henry Eniyan Tonwe as Chairman, Sunny Jirin Jeye as Vice, while John Nogho Ofofo will serve as General Secretary. Others are: Donatus Mikie-PRO, former member of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Otimeyin Orugboh-Treasurer, Mr. Tsola Etsede-Financial Secretary, Madam Grace Atsedagho-Woman Leader, Mr. Jerry Atiene -Assistant Secretary, Felix Oruru-Ex Officio, Joseph Eweyeju-Ex Officio, Monday Okobe-Ex Officio and Madam Alice Atseyinku-Ex Officio.

The introductory letter which was signed by the Olare-Aja(Head)and Chairman of Ureju Council of Elders, Pa. Thompson Jarikpe, Secretary of the Council of Elders, Pa. John Eguando, First Vice President, Olero and Erefoluwa, Pa. Johnson Agbajor as well as Pa. Opoloko Omajugho for Kokolo and Esomoro descendants, copied The General Manager, PGPA Chevron, Mr. Deji Haastrup, Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Security Chiefs in Warri area as well as The General Manager, Community Relations, NPDC.
