A combined team of Policemen and Soldiers on Monday October 5, 2015 gunned down a kidnapping suspect during gun duel with suspected kidnappers, who abducted one Bamidele Daudu, Proprietor of an Ozoro based Fast-Food Place, Derag Eateries.

The kidnappers reported to be five in number, invaded the Eatery and took away the said Bamidele Daudu in his Nissan Tera Jeep along Kwale road.

Apart from the victim’s Nissan Tera Jeep, one locally made cut-to-size single barrel gun and one live cartridge was recovered by the security agents.

In similar vein, operatives based at Ughelli on the same day received information that some suspected kidnappers/armed robbers were sighted somewhere along Ewrheni/Ughelli expressway.
