Exclusive: Tompolo militants chase workers away from EPZ site
High Chief Government Ekpemupolo

Feelers reaching Fresh Angle International say workers of JAD Catering, a company allegedly belonging to one time Chairman of Warri South West Local Government were at about 3pm Saturday October 3, 2015 chased out of the Madangho axis of the Export Processing Zone, EPZ.

The workers who were clearing the site were chased away by gun wielding militants of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo A.K.A. Tompolo over demands for compensation.

Our source claimed that the military men on the project site kept their fingers crossed and watched the militants shot sporadically into the air to scare the JAD workers on site.

Fresh Angle International learned that while Tompolo got the clearing job of the EPZ site at the Kpokpo axis, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi secured the other stretch of the clearing contract, leaving the Madangho end for JAD Catering.

Chairman of Ugborodo Interface Committee, Barr. Austin Oborogbeyi could not be reached for comment as at the time of this report.

In his reaction, Tompolo denied knowledge of the incident which was allegedly marshaled by one of his most loyal militant simply called Old Soldier.

It would be recalled that it was the same “Old Soldier” that marshaled the abduction of 14 media practitioners who were returning from Ugborodo at the Escravos River not too long ago and the media practitioners alongside 6 Ugborodo indigenes were taken to Tompolo's Gbaramatu home before they were released to the Joint Taskforce six and half hours later.

“There is no iota of truth on that story. It may be even your own imagination, because am a member of the committee on the Gbaramatu sea port , and am not aware of stoppage of clearing job, talk less of Tompolo sending so called ex militants. Please be careful”, Tompolo's spokesman, Comrade Paul Bebenimibo.
