Reports just reaching Fresh Angle International say mobile and conventional Policemen have sealed the Uvwie Local Government Council Secretariat in Effurun, Delta State, preventing staff of the council and others from entering the secretariat, even as youths said to be loyal to the embattled Council Boss, Hon. Henry Baro Minabonwanre were seen around the secretariat.
Our Correspondent gathered that the latest development followed the purported impeachment of the local government Vice Chairman, Hon. Stella Debona yesterday (August 19) by 13 members of the council legislature, including the Leader of the House who has been mandated to act as Chairman of the Council pending when "the suspended Acting Chairman, Hon. Stella Debona purges herself of her impunity and lawlessness".
Fresh Angle International leaned that the Vice Chairman, allegedly acting on the directive of the state governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa attempted to lure the Head of Personnel Management of the Council into finding out ways of opening account of the Council that has been frozen by the Legislative Arm of the Council, as a way of taking charge of the local government administration when the 13 councilors loyal to the embattled chairman purportedly impeached her.

Baro and the member representing Uvwie in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Oforbruku are sympathetic to the APC, Hon. Evelyn Oboro and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the other path of the PDP are bent on taking over the local government area.
