An unidentified Mobile Policeman was few minutes to 1PM today, July 6 shot dead by a gunman described as fair, tall and reportedly masked his face.
The bloody incident happened at the road connecting the Warri New Port Gate with the Ogunu Eagle Square Roundabout in Warri, Delta State.
Fresh Angle International gathered from Eye Witnesses that the Mobile Policeman was inside a Jeep alongside the driver, escorting two men sitting at the back of the Jeep when the gunman came down from a vehicle, shot and killed him on the spot.
Immediately the Policeman was killed, the gunman entered the vehicle to the waiting hands of members of his gang and they drove off towards the Ogunu Roundabout axis without taking anything from the Jeep.
When Eye Witnesses asked the other occupants of the Jeep if they carried money inside the car, they reportedly answered that they were not in possession of any cash and wondered what must have led to the attack.
The remains of the unidentified Policeman was immediately taken away in the Jeep, even as people doing business in the area, which is by the side of Shell Vendor’s gate claimed the same unidentified gunman recently robbed a popular Amala joint on the same road.
