Dare devil armed robbers at about 11 am today killed a middle aged staff of NNPC by the name Raymond Ebita at the busy Ekpan Junction by Maxim Lotus Hotel in the heart of Warri/Effurun, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.
The victim who only resumed work after his annual vacation was coming from Zenith Bank along Ogunu Road in Warri, Delta State where he went to withdraw four hundred thousand naira (N400, 000) when the hoodlums who apparently trailed him from the bank double-crossed him at the Ekpan Junction by the NPA Expressway and shot into the air to scare people. Immediately the robbers shot into the air and ordered the late Ebita who hails from Esan in Edo State to come out from his Mercedez Benz, he came out without hesitation and handed over the N400, 000 to the gunmen as demanded.
An eye witness disclosed to Fresh Angle International that immediately the robbers collected the money from Mr. Raymond Ebita who knelt down and raised up his hands in total submission, they shot him on his fore head and he died on the spot.
The gory incident happened opposite firms where conventional security officials are detailed, but the robbers operated successfully without any interruption.
The corpse of Mr. Ebita who lived at Jeddo in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State with his wife and children was deposited at the mortuary of a private hospital in Warri as at the time of this report.
Your soar-away International tabloid can also report that two customers of the same bank were only last week robbed of their N250, 000 and N70, 000 respectively after making withdrawals.
