Senatorial Contest: I see you emerging victorious, Oleh ruler tells Omatseye

As the 2015 general elections inch closer, the traditional ruler of Oleh, A.W.O. Ovrawah (JP) The Odiologbo of Oleh says he sees Delta South All Progressives Congress, APC Senatorial hopeful, Barr. Temisan Omatseye emerging victorious in the February 14 polls.

The Oleh Monarch made the declaration when Barr. Temisan Omatseye led hundreds of his supporters on a campaign visit to his palace, just as he noted that politics should not be a do or die affair.

According to the Odiologbo, greediness is one of the greatest problems “ we are facing in the Delta South Senatorial district seat”, insisting that the Delta South Senatorial position is not for only one man, but belongs to the Itsekiri, Isoko and Ijaw.

The Oleh Monarch described the APC Senatorial hopeful, Barr. Temisan Omatseye as a simple man and Prince who has a name to maintain in politics, even as he quipped that the Olu of Warri is a man whose yes is yes.

He prayed for Barr. Omatseye to succeed in his endeavour and assured him of his support as well as those of his subjects.

In the same vein, APC ward six Olomoro Chairman, Comrade Vincentino Oberebe said, “we don’t know James Manager, we have not seen him”, and urged his party members and all supporters of APC in Olomoro, Isoko South Local Government to come out enmasse to vote for Barr. Omatseye, whom he described as “the most wanted and qualified candidate to represent Delta South at the National Assembly” in the next legislature.

In his response, the Delta South APC Senatorial hopeful, Barr. Temisan Omatseye assured people of Olomoro of an all-inclusive and consistent visit to the area if elected, promising to bring robust development to Isoko people.

Barr. Omatseye who led his teeming supporters to all wards in Isoko South Local Government area, declared that if elected, “I’m going to sustain the visitation and make it a regular occurrence in order to make sure I initiate people oriented projects”.

At Uzere, the Ovie of Uzere, His Royal Majesty, Henry Etuwede III, prayed for the success of the APC Senatorial hopeful and advised Barr. Omatseye’s supporters to remain steadfast with their principal in his senatorial quest.

The Monarch expressed optimism that APC will do well to cause positive change in the country.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that other wards visited in Isoko South Local Government Area included: Irri ward 10/11, Aviara ward 3, Uzere ward 5 and 6, Emede ward 5 and olomoro ward 6.
