Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema has charged the newly sworn-in Secretary of Local Education Authority, LEA for Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Wilson Eyimofe Omor not to play with his job, stressing that the new Secretary LEA has “taken up a new responsibility that requires the right attitude and work ethic”.
Hon. Edema who gave the charge today at his office while swearing in Hon. Wilson Eyimofe Omor, a one time member of Transition Committee, Warri South Local Government as the new LEA Secretary for the Council, expressed optimism that with the corporation of Hon. Omor, his administration will be able to streamline the over N 135 million monthly wage bill presently being deducted at source for the payment of primary school teachers in Warri South Local Government Area with a view to cutting down the huge primary school teachers’ over-head having its toll on the Council’s monthly allocation.
While advising Hon. Wilson Omor to be very careful with the kind of advice he listens to, the Warri South Council boss expressed optimism that Hon. Omor will enjoy the support of the Head of Personnel Management of Warri South LEA, Mr. Ogriki Bernard and staff of the LEA in his new assignment.
Responding, the newly sworn-in Secretary of LEA Warri South, Hon. Wilson Omor promised to serve with diligence and great sense of responsibility.
