A one-time Project Engineer for the upgrading of Osogbo Railway Station and National Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers, NICE, Engineer Olalekan Salami will be among the four distinguished engineers billed to deliver lecture at the 2014 NICE Warri seminar holding in Warri, Delta State Saturday October 18, 2014.
According to a statement by the Chapter Chairman of NICE Warri, Engr. Donald Okeke and the chapter Secretary, Engr. Isaiah Ogho, the seminar taking place at MIMI Suite Annex at Bendel Estate, Effurun will also feature incisive lectures from Engr. John Ebipuakebina Agori, Dr. Constant Noble Omamogho and Mr. Bisola Smith.
The statement explained that the theme of this year’s seminar tagged “development and deployment of sustainable construction materials in Nigeria” is part of the institution’s effort to check the poor state of infrastructures in the country with a view to avoiding construction collapse.
The Warri Chapter of the Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers NICE is also inviting practicing engineers, Engineering students and other stakeholders to the seminar expected to commence by 9:00am.
