Feelers reaching your soar-away tabloid indicate that Mr. Obuh who is from Ika South Local Government Area like Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who had hitherto been the front runner for the governorship position after Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration in 2015, purportedly threw-in the towel Monday September 1amid pressure from a founding father of PDP in Delta State.
Deltans were taken by storm when a group, Delta United For Tony Obuh, DUF first blew open the Tony Obuh project few weeks ago. The Obuh aspiration which has polarized Ika South Local Government Area, particularly Agbor is set to upset the pockets of gubernatorial aspirants from Delta Central and North Senatorial districts as well as some old political brigades in the PDP who see the out-gone PS as a ploy to scheme them out of the main-stream.
