This very dirty Egbema linen must be washed in the public. There is a saying that when the desireable is not available, then the available becomes the desireable. The plain truth is that there are no political leaders in Egbema, all we have are opportunists.
Egbema people had made the mistake of seeing politics as a dirty game in the past creating an opportunity for the present crop of leaders to have occuppied the sensitive position of being our political leaders particularly in the almighty PDP. As you all know, these leaders survive in the political waters Warri North only by bowing to their Itsekiri counterparts.
Now it is no longer news they these leaders have just mortgaged our collective interest in order to continue to remain as leaders, by ceding the chairmanship of council once again to the Itsekiris. You do not need to be reminded that the Itsekiris have learnt to preserve the leadership of these Ijaw political leaders in the PDP knowing fully well that the retainership of these so called leaders would guarantee continuos Itsekiri dominance in the Local Government.
You also do not need to be reminded that the political leadership of these so called political leaders has cost Egbema so much political losses so much so that Egbema is now in a mess and is almost completely ruined.
Take a look at the following: Physically we outnumber the Itsekiris but in census and voters' registration, they far outnumber us. Our 4 wards with about 302 villages have only 29 units while the 6 wards of the Itsekiris with just 37 villages out of which some exist only on paper have 90 units. The so called PDP Ijaw political leaders have continuously conceded chairmanship of the council to the Itsekiris since the advent of the council. They have never cared to be commissioners.
The only commissioner we now have in the Federal Character Commission got there by our recent efforts as youths for which some are still facing criminal charges in court.
The first and most appropriate thing to do in the extant circumstance is to pass a vote of no confidence on these PDP Ijaw political leaders who are but mere political morons, political airheads, political birdbrains, political blockheads, political boneheads, political bubbleheads, political chowderheads, political chuckleheads, political clodpolls, political clots, political clucks, political clunks, political cretins, political cuddies, political deadheads, political dim bulbs, political dimwits, political dips, political dodos, political dolts, political donkeys, political doofuses, political dopes, political dorks, political dullards, political dumbbells, political dumbheads, political dum-dums, political dummkopfs, political dummies, political dunces, political dunderheads, political fatheads, political ganders, political golems, political goofs, political goons, political half-wits, political hammerheads, political hardheads, political ignoramuses, political imbeciles, political jackasses, political know-nothings, political knuckleheads, political lamebrains, political loggerheads, political loons, political lumps, political lunkheads, political meatheads, political momes, political idiots, political mugs, political mutts, political naturals, political nimrods, political nincompoops, political ninnies, political ninnyhammers, political nits, political nitwits, political noddies, political noodles, political numskulls, political numbskulls, political oafs, political pinheads, political prats, political ratbags, political sapheads political schlubs, political shlubs, political schnooks, political simpletons, political stocks, political stupes, political stupids, political thickheads, politica turkeys, political woodenheads, political yahoos, political yo-yos. We shall also declare them persona non grata to the Egbema Kingdom and cause all these actions to be published on national dailies.
This is because these self-appointed Ijaw PDP leaders are the first enemies of the Kingdom and the only way to liberate Egbema is to first liberate ourselves from the political leadership of these weak, good for nothing Ijaw PDP leaders.
And when we are through with them, the next thing we need do as reasonable and enlightened youths is to shove ourselves into the political scene and let our relevance be felt. For us to be able to do this, we need to be meticulously united so that we will not be divided by these same rotten political tomatoes. The clarion call will come soon and we must obey it and come together to salvage Egbema.
